In 2004, PR genius Laura Herrera and I formed a non-profit organization called 512 HipHop. The sole
purpose of this organization was to help showcase local artists with national touring acts or in the
spotlight usually reserved for national artists. This event partnered a local rising MC Element 7D with
legendary hip-hop group Digable Planets & Rawkus recording act The Procussions. Over 700 attended.
